Why are you proud to be a Sigma Kappa?Becoming a Sigma Kappa is literally what changed my future as a leader. Prior to being a Sigma Kappa, I was a follower. I was the person who sat in the back of the room, was chosen last for team activities in school, was made fun of, and rarely shared my opinion. Once I joined Sigma Kappa, I was able to find my inner voice, and become a true leader, thanks largely to my mentor and Chapter Advisor Ann Felice Bertin Thiel. I truly believe I am the leader and professional I am today due to Sigma Kappa.Share your favorite moment from your time as a Sigma Kappa undergraduate member.Being able to go through initiation as a part of the recolonization of the Gamma Gamma chapter at Indiana State University. What is your favorite Sigma Kappa memory? My favorite memory of Sigma Kappa is all of the dances we hosted, the fun we had preparing for and carrying out rush parties, and our Tandem and Trike race teams.Identify any individuals mentioned or depicted. This is our formal pledge class photo from Indiana State University Gamma Gamma re-colonization class.Tell us about the materials you are sharing and how they are related to your Sigma Kappa experience. This picture was one of the first times in my life where I felt a true part of something. I felt powerful standing amongst these ladies. I felt loved. It felt amazing.
